Here is my video review for VVVVVV. VVVVVV is a 3DSWare title on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The game is published by Nicalis and it will set you back $7.99. You play as Captain Viridian and your job is to rescue your fellow crew members of your spaceship, because you all have been sucked into another dimensions and scattered about within it.
Here is some information about the upcoming revision of Cave Story on the Nintendo 3DS eShop:
- 4:3 and widescreen modes
- option to flip the jump buttons
- almost all the modes from Cave Story+ on Steam
- touchscreen support for the Sub menu
- 3D and depth being tweaked
- not the same music or HD art as Cave Story+ on Steam
The producer of Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed Joe Neate had this to say when the question of a Wii U version popped up:
“I’m sure there are still discussions ongoing about that at the moment. I think the platforms announced today are the only confirmed ones, but yeah, keep your eyes peeled for potential other platforms I’d imagine.”
There is still hope that the Wii U will be receiving a version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed. Sega could be making one but keeping it under wraps until a future date.
Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing 2 has been officially named Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed. The transformed part comes from the gameplay in which your cart will be able to turn in a boat and plane. Sound familiar? Yep, looks like idea from Mario Kart 7. Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS, but no mention of the Wii U. Sega could be working on a Wii U version but they are keeping it under wraps. This game is scheduled to be released in 2012. Below is a trailer for the game:
The rumors were true! Nintendo has announced via a press release that the Midnight Purple Nintendo 3DS will be heading to North America on May 20th, which is the exact day Mario Tennis Open becomes available in North America. The Midnight Purple Nintendo 3DS will retail at the regular price of a Nintendo 3DS which is $169.99. If you like the color purple and don’t have a Nintendo 3DS yet, well there you go.
The localization of Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is up in the air right now since Capcom still isn’t sure what to do. During an “Ask Capcom” session, the Consumer Software Senior VP of Capcom named Christian Svensson stated this about Ace Attorney Investigations 2 being localized:
“[Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is] still on the possibility cards”
Ace Attorney Investigations 2 came out in Japan on February 3rd, 2011 on the Nintendo DS. Capcom better make a decision before the Nintendo DS dies. Maybe Capcom could release this game on the eShop of the Nintendo 3DS. Just a possibility.

Somehow a trailer for Rayman Legends has been leaked with some footage that includes the Wii U. Nintendo isn’t probably super happy about this leak because it shows off Nintendo’s new console. Check it out below:
Rayman Legends Details from trailer:
- “Epic” rendering engine
- New playable characters
- Online gameplay
- Social gaming
- When played on the Wii U tablet, there is touch functionality
- Uses a combination of tablets and Wii remotes
- Probably not a Wii U exclusive, but it does have Wii U exclusive content
- Will support NFC functionality(NFC will include a Rabbids figure)
- Trailer shows a wired controller, but this is most likely a Wii U dev kit
This is a little picture of the Bomb Monkey feature in the May 2012 issue of Nintendo Power. You can’t read it because the picture is to small, but we do get to see some screenshots of the game. We haven’t really got a good look at the game, but these screenshots are something to go off of. Want to read this article? Well, you better go pick up the May 2012 issue of Nintendo Power!
There is a rumor that the Wii U will receive some sort of support with Streetpass. The rumor is that there will be some sort of small device that you can bring along with you when you are out and then when you get home you can transfer the data from the device onto the Wii U. If this is true, we will probably see something about it at E3 2012.
