Nintendo to Announce Wii U Price/Release Date and Games for 2013 in September?
Nintendo just had a shareholders meeting yesterday and someone who was supposedly at that meeting said this:
“Nintendo plans to reveal the launch day and price at September, and not just the launch titles, also the titles for 2013 will be revealed at that time”
Now this is just a rumor right now, but if this person is to be believed then we may very well be hearing the price and release date for the Nintendo Wii U in September along with games that will be released in 2013.

Nintendo Confirms No Plans For Additional 3DS Models in Near Future
Satoru Iwata announced at a shareholders meeting that Nintendo doesn’t have any plans to release additional models of the Nintendo 3DS in the near future. Iwata feels that consumers could become confused if there are too many different types of models out on the market. That doesn’t mean we won’t see any more 3DS models later down the line, but just not in the near future. I mean the Nintendo DS had the DS Lite, DSi, and DSi XL.

Nintendo Comments on What Has/Hasn’t Changed for 3DS XL
Nintendo has revealed some information about what has or hasn’t changed for the design of the 3DS XL compared to the original Nintendo 3DS. Here is a list:
- Nintendo has made no material changes to the 3DS XL’s displays
- Nintendo hasn’t adjusted the 3DS XL to accommodate the 90% display increase
- “the speaker function of the XL is the same quality level as the 3DS’”
- Nintendo has adjusted the D-Pad, shoulder and face buttons
- they are now “slightly bigger than the 3DS buttons”
