Not long ago Satoru Iwata brought out some information concerning the security Nintendo is going to have with Miiverse. People started getting upset that their might be a 30 minute delay for each message we send through Miiverse, but now Reggie Fils-Aime has shared some details that will cheer you up:

“Let’s take that example. I need help with level so-and-so. The technical scan happens. There’s no bad words. It happens.” No queue? “Correct.”

This, Fils-Aime said, is when a Nintendo rep would step in: “If the community is flagging it or if there’s an issue where the consumer is continuously trying to send inappropriate content. Because this is account driven, if Stephen Totilo is continuously trying to send inappropriate content then we have the ability to message this.”

There will be pretty much no delay for messages we send, because Nintendo will just use the software based filter to find foul language. The delay will come when people flag messages and then Nintendo monitors and reviews the messages of who ever got flagged. If everyone just behaves and doesn’t send anything inappropriate then there will be pretty much no delay.
