It was revealed not long ago that players who have both the 3DS and Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate would be able to transfer saved data between both games. Now we have a bit more information about how this process will work.
Ryozo Tsujimoto, the Monster Hunter series producer has brought out that you will have to download an application on the Nintendo 3DS to be able to transfer saved files between the Wii U and 3DS versions of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. The transferring process is done through wireless means so you will not have to be connected to an Internet connection. Plus, the transfer doesn’t take very long.
