Peter Ong, the creative director for DreamRift, has brought out that DreamRift has some “exciting ideas” for the future of the Nintendo DS title Monster Tale. We could see this game be released on the eShop or even as a retail game backed up by a publisher, but Ong brings out that “It’ll be the support of the fans…that will ultimately determine what DreamRift makes.” Maybe they will start after Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion comes out.
“I can’t say too much right now regarding Monster Tale’s future, although we have exciting ideas for it. Anything is possible, either with a publisher or through other avenues such as the eShop. We definitely hold a special place in our hearts for [Monster Tale] with it being our first full creation at DreamRift, and we’d love to bring it back. It’ll be the support of the fans … that will ultimately determine what DreamRift makes.”
