Jools Watsham of Renegade Kid was asked by Nintendo Life about the progress of Mutant Mudds 2 and here is what Watsham said:

We have a lot of projects going on right now, and Mutant Mudds 2 is one of them. But, it’s going to be a while before we can share any more information on it. Due to our busy schedule, it is looking like Mudds 2 will be a 2014 release.

Renegade Kid is working on multiple projects right now so that means it is going to take longer for Mutant Mudds 2 to release. Because they are so busy Mutant Mudds 2 will probably come out sometime in 2014.

Renegade Kid is making a sequel to the Nintendo 3DS eShop title Mutant Mudds and it will be released early in 2013. Mutant Mudds 2 will still feature 5 worlds, but each world will have 5 levels instead of 4 like in the previous installment. The last level in each world is a boss battle, which was a feature that was lacking in the original Mutant Mudds.

Jools Watsham has confirmed that Mutant Mudds 2, which would be the next installment to the Nintendo 3DS eShop title Mutant Mudds will not be released until some time next year.

In an interview with NintendoEnthusiast Jools Watsham was asked about whether or not we would see a sequel to Mutant Mudds in the future. Here is what Jools Watsham said in reply:

Yes, a sequel will happen one day. I must keep the details secret for now. Sorry.

Jools Watsham is confirming that Mutant Mudds 2 will happen. He may already be working on Mutant Mudds 2 since he has details for the game that he wants to keep secret. The details could just be ideas that he has come up with but hasn’t put the ideas into motion yet. I’m up for a sequel to Mutant Mudds. How about you?

Jools Watsham talked to GameReactor and had some stuff to say about Mutant Mudds 2 and the Mutant Mudds demo in Europe.

- he’d love to make a Mutant Mudds sequel, feels fortunate and wants to try new ideas
- Mutant Mudds demo could be out in Europe 1-2 weeks before the game, so people can try & decide

Not much information, but he does like the idea of a sequel to Mutant Mudds. I enjoyed the first installment, so hopefully Watsham picks some creative ideas for the sequel to make it unique. Looks like the demo for Mutant Mudds is going to be heading to Europe before the full game is released.
