Some new rumored details have been revealed pertaining to the Nintendo characters and items that are going to be included in the Wii U version of Scribblenauts Unlimited:
“The presented characters aren’t the only ones usable in Scribblenauts Unlimited, there are also Yoshi’s in different colors and not to forget Tingle of the Legend of Zelda side. Better, multiple objects from these two sagas are back, in the form of the Triforce or the Ocarina. For example, if you give the Ocarina to Link and he use it, Epona will gallop to him.
Yoshi will be available in different colors. Tingle will be making an appearance. The ocarina will allow you to call Epona to your character and the Triforce will also be included. What else is going to be added to the game?
There is a rumor coming from someone over on Neogaf that Shigeru Miyamoto is going to be stepping down as General Manager of Nintendo EAD in December. Miyamoto’s departure from Nintendo EAD is to inspire new IP to be made by EAD. There is a rumor that Takashi Tezuka, the series producer of New Super Mario Bros., will be taking Miyamoto’s position as general manager.
Shigeru Miyamoto won’t necessarily be leaving Nintendo but instead work with a new team and make smaller projects.
There is a rumor coming from someone on Youtube who has supposedly never made claims in his videos that were false. The rumor is that a Gamestop manager stated that Nintendo is going to be partnering up with Gamestop to live stream the Wii U event that is going to be held on September 13th in New York City.
According to the Japanese retailer Sinobi, Nintendo will be having a retailer’s briefing sometime this week. Sinobi brings out that these briefing result with a release date announcement or the start of promotions for a big game. Sinobi is guessing that this briefing will deal with the upcoming Animal Crossing for the Nintendo 3DS.
There is a rumor that is coming from a source that has got information in the past correct and this person is saying that some Nintendo of Canada representatives are going to be heading to San Diego, California to attend a Wii U conference next month. This could just be a conference for Nintendo representatives, so maybe there will be no press invitations.
Nintendo has confirmed that they will be bringing their first-party titles to the digital spectrum along with retail copies of the games, but supposedly Nintendo really wants third-party publishers to bring their games to the digital world on the eShop. An anonymous source who is supposedly a European developer said this to Wii U Daily:
“They’re offering insane incentives for publishers to sell retail games as downloads on the console. You’d be stupid not to take advantage of it and go retail box-only. The new platform is perfect for indie devs, it’s a whole different ball game than WiiWare. They’ve learned a lot from that mess.
It’s just a much bigger revenue cut that you’d get selling it on any other platform at the moment, plus promotions on the online store. If they [Nintendo] pull it off and it gains traction, it’ll press the other guys [Microsoft and Sony] to give more of the revenue to the publishers. It’s very good for us who make games. You’ll be making a lot more per unit sold digitally than at retail with the Wii U. And from day one.”
This is just a rumor, but supposedly Nintendo is giving publishers a big incentive to turn their games into digital form along with retail games by giving them a bigger revenue cut. Supposedly Nintendo will be giving more revenue to the publishers than Microsoft and Sony do.
Check out the video below that was uploaded by Nintendo on Youtube. The Non-Specific Action Figure makes another appearance in this video. Will Nintendo ever feature this action figure in one of their video games?
