This is a game that has been hyped up about, but nevertheless, this is a game that has been on my radar lately. This is a game that will be coming out on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. You play as the young kid Max, who carries a water cannon and jetpack and sets out to destroy the evil muddy bad guys(Hinted by the title of the game itself) You have a Grannie who gives you power-ups after you gather enough golden diamonds scattered around the levels. These power-ups will be essential to certain parts of the game as you progress.  The game will feature 40 levels to play 16 types of enemies, pop-ups, and a secret character (Grannie is that you…)

Having gotten a Recommended rating in Nintendo Power(which is the highest rating possible), this is a game you might want to be on the look out for.  The art style for the game looks great. The graphics are retro looking but clean and colorful. Being colorful is good in a game because the draws the player, and this game seems to have that colorful essence to it. To go along with the graphics the 3D of this game looks delicious. You can really see the depth of the game and it brings and it is candy to the eyes. The gameplay is enhanced(even though I have not played it but you can tell by the trailers) by the fact that you can see in the background and foreground better instead of everything just push together and flat in 2D space. The 3D makes the game feel like a pop up book also. The look is like the Paper Mario game coming out for the Nintendo 3DS where Mario is paper thin. Well Max the main character looks the same way because everything is 2D but set in a 3D world. This is definitely a game I will be playing in 3D(even though always play in 3D). Jools Watsham who is part of Renegade Kid has stated that the game should be coming out sometime in January/February in North America. He also stated the game may be around $10. He has even talked about the desire to make a sequel or a Lost Levels type of game. So save up those eShop dollars so you can blast your way through evil Muddies to save the world!
