Ubisoft has confirmed that the Nintendo 3DS version of Rayman Origins is now available in North America. It has been out for some time in Europe, but North America is now finally able to get their hands on a copy of the game.
Best Buy is listing the Nintendo 3DS version of Rayman Origins has coming out on November 6th, 2012. North America has yet to receive this game on the Nintendo 3DS. I remember hearing that Ubisoft bumped the release date up so the game could come out closer to Rayman Legends. I don’t know how well Rayman Origins is going to sell since the game has been out for some time on other platforms.
According to this receipt from Play.com there is going to be a bundle consisting of Rayman Origins and an Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS. You can see it listed in the Coming Soon section on the receipt. It is unclear whether or not this is just something Play.com is going to provide or if this bundle with arrive at retail stores too.

As you can see in the pictures above Rayman Origins on the Nintendo 3DS is out in Europe right now. North America has to wait until November for the game to be released because Ubisoft wants the game to release at the time when Rayman Legends is released on the Wii U.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Rayman Origins for the Nintendo 3DS has been delayed until November so it can coincide with the launch of Rayman Legends on the Wii U. Rayman Legends is suppose to be a launch title for the Wii U so does that mean the console will release in November?

Something fishy is going on with the release date for the Nintendo 3DS version of Rayman Origins. There has been a press release from Ubisoft stating that this game would be coming out on June 5th, but now different websites are listing different dates. Amazon has the release date set at November 6th, 2012. What is going on? Maybe Ubisoft will address this soon.

Recently Ubisoft sent out a press release concerning Rayman Origins on the Nintendo 3DS and included in this was a release date for June 5th, 2012. The thing is that Gamestop has the release date at December 31st and Gamefly has it at TBA. What is going on here? Is Ubisoft pushing the release date of Rayman Origins back even farther than June 5th now?

Ubisoft has stated this in a press release concerning Rayman Origins on the Nintendo 3DS:
“The full version of the game will be available at retailers and online on June 5, 2012.”
Ubisoft stating that Rayman Origins will be released “at retailers and online” suggests that it will be available at stores and on the eShop. Looks like this will be one of the first games to receive this treatment on Nintendo’s new handheld.
Update: Ubisoft might be saying that you can buy Rayman Origins online like at Amazon or some other online store.

A new trailer has been released for Rayman Origins on the Nintendo 3DS. The 3DS version of Rayman Origins is slated for release on June 5th 2012.
Get ready because the Nintendo 3DS version of Rayman Origins is receiving a demo this Thursday in Europe. Hopefully North America will receive it on the same day because I want to try the 3DS version out.
