It has been revealed in the latest issue of the Japanese publication Famitsu that the White Tanooki Suit from Super Mario 3D Land will be making a return in New Super Mario Bros. 2. You will gain access to an assist block containing this invincible suit by dying 5 times in the same spot. I don’t know why it is a Tanooki Suit though. Other New Super Mario Bros. 2 artwork showed a White Raccoon Suit, so I don’t know what is going on there.
