Supposedly an Ubisoft product manager has stated that the Wii U GamePad will be able to support 3D visuals. This type of 3D would require you to wear a special pair of 3D glasses, so it isn’t like the Nintendo 3DS. The Wii U console itself is 3D ready so it can display 3D visuals on a TV, but Nintendo hasn’t confirmed that the GamePad is also. You can mark this down as a rumor for now.
